2. Secure Logistics Equipment is picked up using documented chain-of-custody procedures. Every shipment gets a Bill of Lading (BOL), pallet identification, and weight verification. SSTEK coordinates nationwide LTL and FTL freight across the contiguous United States (48 states).

3. Receiving and Triage At the processing facility, equipment is received into a secure, camera-monitored environment. Each item is triaged and sorted into processing streams: reuse, parts recovery, data destruction, or recycling.

4. Data Sanitization All data-bearing devices undergo NIST SP 800-88 compliant sanitization using certified software (Active@ KillDisk). Devices that fail software sanitization are routed to physical destruction. Per-drive certificates are generated documenting the sanitization or destruction.

5. Remarketing and Value Recovery Equipment that passes functional testing and data sanitization enters the remarketing stream. This is where value recovery happens — working laptops, servers, and components are sold through wholesale channels, and proceeds are shared with or credited to the client.

6. Responsible Recycling Equipment that cannot be remarketed is recycled through certified downstream partners. R2 V3 and e-Stewards certifications ensure materials are processed responsibly, with zero-landfill goals and full traceability.
